Winter clothing advisory!  – Children will go outside for recess on most days and should bring appropriate winter coats, boots, gloves, etc. to stay warm.  Please write your student’s name on their items.

Thayne Volunteer Committee:  

1. Food drive results:  454 items were donated and $333 monetary donations … that’s equal to $4,662 for the food bank!  Thank you for all of your donations
2. No TVC meeting in December.  Next meeting is January 17th.
3. Dear Parents/Guardians:  An information packet about the TVC fundraiser for this year was recently sent home with your student.  It is a spirit shirt design competition. (We have received donations from the community to supply every student with a free shirt.) The 1st page is optional for student participation. The 2nd page will need to be filled-out and returned in order for students to receive their shirt. Parents also have the option to donate to TVC activities. Please return items to the school no later than December 14th. 
   

Other News:

LCSD#2 Annual Early Childhood Census is open through Jan. 25!  Parents with children birth to 5 years old and not yet enrolled in kindergarten are asked to complete the census.  The district uses this information to plan for future needs of our schools and to get important information to you the year before your child will enter kindergarten.
