May 12: 3rd Grade Music Program (5:30 p.m. for Mrs. Brasseaux and Mr. Buchanan’s classes) (6:00 p.m. for Mrs. Klein, Mrs. Kinn, and Mrs. Nield’s classes)
May 14: No School
May 21: No School
May 28: Last day of school – half day- early release at 10:55 a.m. / parent pick-up at 10:50 a.m.

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE:
From all of us at Thayne Elementary, we would like to thank our parents, students, and community. You stood behind us. Your support was instrumental in keeping our school open during these unprecedented times. We know it wasn’t always easy but together we accomplished a successful year. The flexibility and patience you gave us is appreciated. We are honored to work with your children and look forward to a great 21-22 year. Have a wonderful summer.

Summer Reading Ideas
Summer is a fantastic time to enjoy a good book. Did you know that we have libraries in Alpine, Thayne, and Afton offering a variety of summer reading activities? You might also read a book as a family that could be extended to a “field trip”. Your family might read books about Yellowstone Park and then visit the national park. Maybe read a book about horses and then go on a trail ride. Another idea is for your family to choose to read a book and then watch the movie version.
Remember to have fun and enjoy your reading time together!
